Role

Shopify E-commerce Experience

Challenge

Knotzen brings together products across wellness, wearable technology, storage, home appliances, cleaning tools, and everyday utility. Each product needs different supporting information while shoppers still expect familiar pricing, availability, cart, and account patterns.

Opportunity

Build the store around buying decisions: what the product is, why it matters, how it works, what it costs, what is included, whether it is available, and how to purchase it.

Solution

A Shopify commerce narrative organized around discovery, product understanding, and transaction, connecting homepage storytelling, catalog scanning, product-detail explanation, selection controls, cart context, and checkout movement.

Outcome

The commerce experience was structured around measurable UX improvements: three storefront layers, two verified collection filter types, eight sorting options, and one direct shopping path from product discovery to cart.

◆ Research

What we listened for.

Discovery

A mixed catalog needs enough structure for customers to find useful products without opening every item one by one.

Clarity

Product purpose, sale pricing, availability, options, quantity, and Add to Cart need to be understandable before the shopper acts.

Consistency

Different product categories can require different stories while still sharing one predictable Shopify commerce system.
